Concerts in the Gardens - 2019
The Concerts in the Garden series showcases outstanding live music in a stunning outdoor atmosphere. Some of the Bay Area’s best local musicians perform among The Gardens’ lush and colorful landscapes creating a totally unique and natural entertainment experience. Proceeds from Concerts in the Garden support this nonprofit public garden -- open daily to the public for free -- and its nature education program which offers environmental science curriculum to over 25,000 local school children annually.

Summer Solstice Bluegrass & Brews with Muleskinner Stomp
Celebrate the warm temps and long daylight of this mid-summer milestone at this amazing outdoor concert experience in the garden! Tap your toes or get up and dance to Muleskinner Stomp, an awesome acoustic quartet performing traditional and contemporary bluegrass, rock and roll, and country music. With members hailing from a variety of legendary bluegrass bands, this upbeat combo performs energetic tunes by Bill Monroe, Old Crow Medicine Show, Gillian Welch, Tim O'Brien, Justin Townes Earle, Billy Strings, 3 Tall Pines, Dwight Yokam, Jimmy Martin, and the Rolling Stones, as well as original music. Their high-energy performances feature powerful vocal harmonies accompanied by guitar, bass, mandolin, dobro, and banjo. Quench your thirst with premium craft beer from Mike Hess Brewing. Bring your own snacks or a picnic dinner to enjoy on the lawn. BYO alcohol prohibited. Proceeds support our nonprofit public garden and nature education programs.
